Mihajlo Bakrač

Attorney-at-law

Born in 1959, in Belgrade, to a family of lawyers, his father being Vojislav Bakrač, attorney-at-law. He graduated from Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. In 1989, he began to work at Selaković law firm. Upon registering to Serbian Bar Association registrar in 1991, he starts working at „ Fila“ law office.

He engaged himself in hundreds of criminal cases where he acted as a defence counsel mostly for those accused for serious criminal offences. He acted in multiple cases in the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in Hague, acting as a lead counsel in four cases.

He acts as a legal representative in litigation processes for numerous clients, such as natural persons, legal entities as well as business entities.

He is a member of Belgrade and Serbian Bar Association as well as the Bar Association ADC-ICTY in Hague.

He is fluent in English.
